Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 September 2026
These terms cover your use of edistrictuttarpradesh.com. They are deliberately short and plain: this is a guide written to help you, not a contract designed to trap you.
Using the site means accepting these terms
By reading these pages or using the tools on them, you accept what is written here. If something in these terms does not work for you, please do not use the site — and tell me why, because I would rather fix it.
What this site is, and what it is not
This is an independent guide to the eDistrict UP certificate services, written by Mohsin Raza in Lucknow. It explains how the official process works.
- It is not a government website and has no connection with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, NIC or edistrict.up.gov.in.
- No application is submitted through this site. Applications happen only on the official portals.
- No fee is collected here for any government service.
- Nobody here can approve, reject, speed up or check the status of your application.
Accuracy, and why you should still check
The fees, documents, timelines and steps described here are checked against the official portal when written, and corrected when readers point out a mistake. Government rules change without notice, districts differ in practice, and a page can go out of date between one visit and the next.
So the guide is offered as it is, without any guarantee that every detail is current or complete. Before you act on something that costs money or time, confirm it on edistrict.up.gov.in or with the office handling your application.
This is not legal or professional advice
Nothing here is legal, financial or professional advice, and reading it creates no client relationship of any kind. For a dispute, an appeal or anything with legal consequences, speak to a qualified advocate or the relevant government office.
The forms and tools on this site
The fillable self-declaration form prints a copy of the government form with your details on it. It is a convenience, nothing more: you are the one who signs it, and you are responsible for everything written on it. A false declaration is an offence under the law cited on the form itself.
The downloadable PDF is the government’s own form, hosted here so it loads quickly. The official copy remains the one on the government portal. The document and fee checker reflects what the guide says at the time of writing and is not an official quotation.
What we ask of you
- Use the site for your own genuine purposes, not to mislead anyone.
- Do not copy the pages wholesale to republish them elsewhere.
- Do not scrape, overload, break into or otherwise interfere with the site.
- Do not present this site as an official government service, or claim to act for it.
- Keep your eSathi password and OTP to yourself — nobody here will ever ask for them.
Who owns what
The words, illustrations and code written for this site belong to its owner. You are welcome to link to any page, and to quote a short passage with credit and a link. Government forms, portal screenshots, official notifications and statutory text belong to the government and are used here only to explain them.
Links to other sites
Links to the official portals and other services are provided for convenience. Those sites are run by other people under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be online or error-free. Pages may be added, rewritten or removed at any time, usually because the underlying government process has changed.
Limits of responsibility
Decisions about your application are made by government officers, not by this site. To the extent the law allows, the site’s owner is not liable for losses arising from a rejected or delayed application, a fee you paid, a document you prepared following this guide, or a mistake or omission in what is written here. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to this site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
